Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy and objectives, as well as Health System Incentives. | | | | | | | | |
• | Provides support to department staff, in the delivery of security services and the provision of a safe and secure environment at all UW Health owned properties. | • | Monitors staff resource utilization, including preparing and reviewing daily staff schedules, addressing short term fluctuations and assigning daily work. | • | Assists in staff development, training and education and assures competency and compliance with department and hospital rules and human resources policies. | • | Functions as a coach and role model for staff and monitors performance, recommending corrective action and participating in discipline as needed. Assists Manager in completing performance evaluations. | • | Coordinates security equipment repairs and oversees supplies and equipment inventory within established budgetary parameters. | • | Conducts follow-up investigations of incidents that requires further review and reviews all safety and security reports submitted. |
