Processes and communicates information utilizing the hospital computer system. Functions as an internal member of the patient care team to enhance smooth Unit operations through communication and teamwork. Assists with coordination and provision of patient care delivery. Serves as unit liaison with inter departmental communications. | | | | | | | | |
• | Provides support to Nursing Unit, utilizing all necessary equipment and systems following established department procedures. | • | Orders and maintains supplies to provide an optimally functioning Unit. | • | Establishes and maintains a variety of complete, accurate and timely records for Unit according to established policies. | • | Coordinates Unit activities with other departments to enhance quality patient care and efficient operations. | • | Functions as a resource for all Unit staff on the proper operation of office equipment, providing assistance and training as necessary. | • | Provides input as requested to various committees and project teams. | • | Assists with coordination and provision of patient care delivery. |
