• | Prepares for CFW patients’ appointments by locating UW Health mammography or other modality type films as necessary by transporting them to the Center For Women Department and returning them by following established department policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of position acquired information. | • | Pulls patient films, sorts, researches and prepares daily management of films following established department policies and procedures. Maintains confidentiality of position acquired information. | • | Requests mammography films from outside facilities according to established signed consent and HIPAA guidelines utilizing the Meditech computer system. | • | Responds to and resolves patient, physician, and healthcare facility inquiries providing customer service, copying reports, locating films, prepare digital formatted CDs by releasing information in accordance of HIPAA and Department guidelines utilizing the Meditech computer system. | • | Utilizes the PACS system to digitize, scan documents, and print films in accordance of established Department guidelines. | • | Performs assigned QC duties in accordance with Department standards. | • | Maintains equipment in proper working order notifying appropriate resources of any malfunctions in a timely manner. | • | Maintains adequate inventory and replenishes Department linens and patient changing room supplies. |
