Monitors clinical outcomes and system issues related to quality of care. Supervises the performance of the trauma RN/trauma registrar. Provides opportunities for continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy and objectives, as well as Health System initiatives. Coordinates the call schedule for the Trauma Program including the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner. Responds to trauma patients in the Emergency Department. Works in collaboration with trauma surgeon for continuity of care of trauma patients. | | | | | | | | |
