JOB SUMMARY

The Manager II, MSO Operations manages staff and Clinic resources ensuring physician and customer satisfaction, compliance and attainment of financial targets. Works closely with physicians to establish and implement departmental mission, goals, strategic plans and objectives that support the Health System mission. 

 

 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES


Manages operations and the delivery of patient care within the Unit/Clinic. Formulates department goals, objectives and strategic plans that integrate the organization’s values, service excellence philosophy and assure overall compliance with regulatory, safety, security, accrediting body and hospital standards.

 

Monitors staff resource utilization, including preparing and reviewing daily staff schedules, addressing short term fluctuations and assigning daily work and/or patient assignments.

 

Integrates acquired or relocated physician practices as necessary and recommends Unit renovations and changes soliciting information from staff, manager and physicians which improve customer service, profitability and/or physician efficiency.

 

In conjunction with physicians and staff prepares and monitors department operating and capital budgets and analyzes monthly variances.

 

Oversees department staff education and performance evaluation process ensuring competence and compliance with department and hospital rules and regulations and human resource policies. Maintains an environment that promotes positive change strategies and individual growth.

 

Monitors and evaluates operational, financial and clinical outcomes and customer satisfaction making appropriate structural changes and communicating issues which need to be addressed to management, staff and physicians.

 

Maintains inventory analysis system ensuring appropriate use of supply and equipment resources within established budgetary parameters.
