JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing appropriate wellness classes at various locations as assigned. Functions as a wellness resource for Health System and medical staff, ensuring the delivery of coordinated and consistently excellent wellness services through a customer-oriented process. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy and objectives, as well as Health System initiatives.

 

This job code is used for Multiple EBC Contracted employees.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES


Plans and conducts individual and/or group teaching, coaching, testing, and other health and wellness services as needed ensuring information is age appropriate and culturally sensitive to specific audience needs.

 

Develops and continually measures quality, service, and effectiveness outcomes of all educational programs and services provided ensuring individual, company or BetterLife Wellness objectives are met.

 

Accurately documents client information and treatment following department and specific program policies and maintaining confidentiality of position acquired information.

 

Delivers individually tailored outcome reports that are appropriate to specific audience needs in order to evaluate program performance and to create new and/or revised wellness initiatives.

 

Maintains the cleanliness, order, and function of all BetterLife Wellness equipment, facility, and supplies.

 

Participates in meetings, workshops and in-services for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions and/or representing BLW to external individuals and/or organizations.

 

Demonstrates a professional demeanor and appearance as a health & wellness role model.

 

Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective operations of BetterLife Wellness.

 


As needed, additional responsibilities reasonably within the scope of duties and physical requirements may be assigned.  ALL DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS MUST BE PERFORMED CONSISTENT WITH THE UW HEALTH PERFORMANCE STANDARDS AND RESPECT FOR PEOPLE COMMITTMENTS.

NETA, ACE, or ASFA certified group fitness instructor certification or RYT 200 certification from a Yoga Alliance accredited school.

Basic Life Support/CPR Certification within 3 months of employment.
