Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy and objectives, as well as, Health System initiatives. | | | | | | | | |
• | Administers routine treatment procedures to client in accordance with treatment plan established and delegated by Physical Therapist following standard protocol. | • | Assists Physical Therapist in evaluating treatment effects for assigned clients. Seeks guidance as necessary and discusses client progress, reevaluation and discharge planning process with Therapist following Agency guidelines. | • | Assists students and other clinicians in the development of their professional skills as needed. | • | Addresses client needs for other services by recommending referrals to other disciplines as necessary. Functions as an advocate for appropriate multidisciplinary services and resources during stay and in preparation for discharge. | • | Coordinates family involvement in the continuing care of patients and educates client, family and other health care providers on appropriate care to improve the client’s functional ability modifying activities considering learner’s needs and capabilities and conducts on-going educational programs as required. | • | Schedules treatments and accurately documents patient information and treatment following Agency policies and maintaining confidentiality of position acquired information. | • | Performs all aspects of care in an environment that optimizes patient and environmental safety and in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and compliance efforts. |

An applicant who fails to provide this documentation will not be hired.
